Julia and Brian have started a new meme: go to this site and click on all of the countries that you’ve visited:

Obviously, I need to actually cross the equator. My map of the US looks much better for coverage…
visited 41 states (82%)

Chris also suggested a map for solely places that you’ve looked at rocks, but that would be limited to New England + Hudson Valley, Hawaii, Switzerland, and California for anything more than just glancing at the rocks in my case.
Yeah I’ve played on this site before as I’ve used this map in my geocaching profile to show all the states I’ve found geocaches in.
Seeing that many of the states I’ve visited were merely just travel through states in order to get to my location of choice i’m going to show a map of the states that I have visted that have directly or indirectly influenced my decision to pursue geology. All of these locations have a very interesting story to tell.

Now to add on to the maps on http://www.targetweb.net/statemap/?state=pennsylvania you can actually go to counties visited for PA. My map shows the counties that I have collected rock samples over the years for numerous reasons (fossils, UPJ geology trips, earthcaches, internship, etc.).

Bierly,
You need to edit your comment to actually show your maps because right now they only lead to the page where you create your own maps. And you may simply want to post your maps as a new post and not as a comment on my post.
