In my 22 years of life, I have seen so much of this country and have experienced it all from the back seat of a vehicle. I was fortunate enough to travel to the westen part of the United States when I was younger and saw many of the wonders the west holds. One of the most amazing places I have ever been to is Dinosaur National Monument in Utah. My love for dinosaurs started when I was very young and my two older brothers and I played with toy dinos and they would teach me all of the names. Sadly Dinosaur National Monument has had to shut down the quarry where classic dinosaur fossils such as Allosaurus, Stegosaurus, and over 1500 bones can be seen in the quarry walls. However, the quarry is said to re-open Fall of 2011! This is one of the coolest placest not only for a dinosaur enthusiast like myself but for anyone who likes dinosaurs, because you get to see the fossils up close and in the exact place they were millions of years ago when they began to become fossils. If you ever find yourself in Utah, stop by Dinosaur National Monument because there is so much to see and not only bones, but rock formations, ancient cave drawings, and wildlife.
